In cases of bacterial infections, fish will display symptoms such as skin and scale loss, swelling, eruptions ranging up to crater-like depressions, wounds with and without reddening of the surrounding tissue, sores, fin erosion, decelerated or accelerated movement, careening movements, cramping, general darkening of coloration, swollen abdomen in conjunction with ruffled scales.
