Calcium<\/h1>\n

In marine aquariums calcium is required by corals, mussels, snails and coralline red algae for growth, among other things. The calcium content in natural marine water is around 420 mg\/l. Aim to maintain a constant calcium content of approx. 400 mg\/l in your marine aquarium. The consumption of calcium in a marine aquarium needs to be offset by regular additions of appropriate preparations.<\/p>\n
