With the AQUAVITAL PH POWDER-PILLOW TEST, you can easily and conveniently check your pH. The powdered reagent is hygienically packaged in single-use portions, each designed for one test, ensuring accurate results and a longer shelf life than a drop test. It’s incredibly easy to use. Pour a water sample into the sample vial, add the reagent, and read the result on the color chart; one water parameter; one reagent.
The pH value indicates the acidity of the water. A pH of 7 is neutral. pH value below 7 are acidic, and pH value above 7 are alkaline or basic. pH value are expressed in powers of 10. If the pH changes by one unit, this represents a tenfold change. Water with a pH of 6 is 10 times more acidic than water with a pH of 7. Large fluctuations in pH should therefore always be avoided.
