AQUAVITAL PO4 POWDER-PILLOW TEST
With the AQUAVITAL PO4 POWDER-PILLOW TEST, you can easily and conveniently determine the phosphate content in freshwater and saltwater. The powdered reagent is hygienically packaged in single-use portions for one test each and ensures accurate results with a longer shelf life than a drop test. It’s incredibly easy to use. Pour a water sample into the sample vial, add the reagent, and, after a short reaction time, read the result on the color chart; one water parameter; one reagent.
Elevated phosphate levels in the aquarium can lead to increased algae growth. In saltwater aquariums, elevated phosphate levels hinder the calcium carbonate production of stony corals and other calcium-secreting organisms. The phosphate level should not exceed 0.4 mg/l in freshwater aquariums and 0.02 mg/l in saltwater aquariums.
To reduce the phosphate level, we recommend using AQUAVITAL PHOSPHATE ADSORBER.
